Cashflow 101 |
|
|
Financial Literacy I enjoyed reading Robert Kiyosaki's books "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and "Cashflow Quadrant. They sounded great and really challenged some of my limiting beliefs about money. However I still continued on much the same way in my life until I bought the board game Cashflow 101. I always have lots of fun when I play the board game Cashflow with friends and family. So does my sister with her family when she borrows the game from me. Also I get used to reading balance sheets, and keeping score while having a great time playing this challenging educational board game. I quickly learn from the financial mistakes I make on the board game without subjecting my family to the pain of making all these expensive mistakes in real life. One important lesson I have learned from this game is distinguishing an asset from a liability. Not knowing this distinction has cost me many tens of thousands of dollars in my life. My daughter is, at 17 years of age much wiser financially than I was at the age of 20, 30 or 40 years. |
